Obituary of Robert M. Bush

Robert M. Bush passed away peacefully on December 22, 2017. Born December 28, 1936 in Punxsutawney, PA he was the son of Albert and Blanche (Rice) Bush. Robert served in the National Guard and earned his Master's degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in Science. He was a teacher for the Lockport City School District from 1964 to 1992. He was active in City Parks Department developing the Rolland T. Grant Trails. Throughout his teaching career, he ran a house painting business. Robert was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Middleport and was a member of the NYS Science Teachers Association. He enjoyed fly fishing, the Buffalo Bills, "fixing" things, and enjoyed spending time at the family cottage on Lake Ontario.
Robert is survived by his wife Elizabeth 'Betty' Bush; daughters Susan (Tim) Cardot and Michelle (David) Rhoads; grandsons Matthew, Jeffrey Cardot, and Brendan, Christian Rhoads; two sisters, two brothers, and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a celebration of life at "80 Main Banquet & Catering", 80 Main Street, Lockport NY on Wednesday December 27th 11am-1pm. Donations to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094 would be preferred rather than flowers. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
