Janet Ruth (Perry) Paterson entered into rest on December 3, 2017 after a short illness. She was born on August 24, 1929 in Lockport.
Beloved mother and grandmother of Kathleen (Jeffrey) Smith of Sanborn, NY and Paul (Melissa)
Paterson of West Falls, NY, 18 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Pre-deceased by husband, Douglas G. Paterson, daughter Bridget Donato, and sons Mark Paterson and Brian Paterson.
Mrs. Paterson graduated from St. Joseph's Academy, Lockport, NY in 1947 and then attended St.
Joseph's Business school, graduating in 1949.
She worked at Lockport Savings Bank as Administrative Assistant to the President; retiring in 1992. Mrs. Paterson continued to work part-time until 2012 in the family's business.
A memorial service will be held at The Newman Center, 495 Skinnersville Rd., Amherst, NY on Wednesday December 13th at 4 PM. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the The Newman Center, 495 Skinnersville Rd., Amherst, NY 14228.
