Obituary of Floyd P. Majka
Floyd P. Majka passed away October 15, 2017. Born March 17, 1925 in North Tonawanda he was the son of Leon and Stephania (Surowec) Majka. Floyd worked for Wurlitzer for 35 years where he was the personnel director and also for Morton-Thiokol-ATK in Ogden, Utah where he was the safety director retiring in January of 1993. He belonged to numerous clubs and organizations.
Floyd is survived by his wife of Marian (nee Grudzinska) Majka; sons Andrew (Lynne), Philip (Sue Ann), and Anthony (Holly); four granddaughters, predeceased by one granddaughter; two sisters and four brothers; and also several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Saturday, Oct. 21st from 7-9 PM and Sunday, Oct. 22nd from 2-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, Oct. 23rd at 10 AM in All Saints Parish, 76 Church St., Lockport. Entombment will be in Queen of Heaven Mausoleum. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
