Linda A. Anstead, 65, of Mount Juliet, TN. Fifty year resident of Lockport, passed away October 14, 2017. Daughter of Howard and Marion (Hemmer) Anstead. Retired in 2011, she was a former part owner of Anstead Furniture Company. Also employed by Factory Sleep Shop of Buffalo, and the former Lockport location of Rosa's Home Store. Involved for over 45 years in the furniture, bedding, and appliance industry.
Sister of the late James Anstead, Maureen (Jerrold) McElvain of Chicago; Marcia (Terry) Brostoff of Mount Juliet, TN; David (Anne) Anstead, Sr. of Newfane. Aunt of Douglas (Lori) McElvain, Lauren McElvain and David (Lucy) Anstead, Jr. Great Aunt to Owen McElvain, Audrey McElvain, Sawyer Anstead and Marshall Anstead.
Friends may call from 5:00 – 8:00 at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesse St., Lockport. Services to be held Saturday at 10:00 AM in St. John the Baptist Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery.
Memorials may be made in Linda's memory to St. John the Baptist Church.
