Frederick G. Stanley, Jr. passed away July 20, 2017 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, Amherst. Born in Salamanca, NY on August 30, 1939 he was the son of Frederick G. and Dorothy (Grout) Stanley, Sr. Fred served in the US Army from 1961 to 1964 during the Vietnam War. He worked for the Lockport City School District where he was an art teacher for 32 years. Fred enjoyed working with pottery and was a member of the American Legion and the Dale Association.
Fred is survived by his loving wife, Carmella (Gionte) Stanley; son Steven (Kristen) Stanley; siblings David (Flo) Stanley, Donald Stanley, Joan (Dean) Lockwood, Judy Aloia, late Wayne Stanley and Carol Ann Stanley; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be Wednesday August 16th at 5 PM at Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 75 East Ave, Lockport, NY. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
