Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of your loved one, Joanne. It breaks our hearts when death separates us from the ones we love so much. The Bible reminds us that God sees our pain and sorrow and has promised that soon, "death will be swallowed uo forever."(Isaiah 25:8) He will heal our broken hearts by resurrecting our precious loved ones to life again.(John 6:40) Until then, I hope the beautiful memories of Joanne and these promises from God comfort you in the days to come.

I am so very sorry for the loss of Joanne. She was a bit older than me, but I knew her from Good Shepherd School. She always had a smile for everyone. I would see her at Tops working and she was so very friendly and cheerful. She will be missed. I will remember her in my prayers and all of her family.

Joanne was such a kind gentle person, that made me always feel like part of the family. My family and myself have been very close friends with Joanne's daughter, Renee', that was my second introduction, I remember first seeing Joanne's smiling face in her warm winter gear including her cut off gloves as person that did stocking of bitterly cold items at Tops. I don't think I could ever go by that store and not think of her. We at least know that the pain is gone and never be felt again. Many blessings to Renee', Tim, Savannah, Jocelyn and everyone else that had felt their lives touched by Mrs. Hamner.
