Laura Lancto passed away August 21, 2010 in Absolut of Gasport. Born December 31, 1912 in Lyon Mountain, NY she was the daughter of Joseph and Rose (Duovnay) Varin. Laura worked as an attendant for 20 years at the Harlem Valley State Hospital in Wingdale, NY she retired in 1978. Laura was predeceased by her husband Clifford Lancto on March 14, 1985. She is survived by her children Leon (Mona) Lancto of Northport, FL, Shelby Donahue of Hollywood, FL, Elsie (Bill) Schmeelke of Lockport, Earl Lancto of Florida and the late James Lacto. She is the grandmother of twenty-two and also survived by several great and great-great grandchildren. Laura was the sister of Cleve Varin of Philadelphia, PA and the late Raymond Varin and Oreal Varin; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
