Michael L. Spitzer, husband of the late Marie Spitzer (Accascio) passed away on May 23, 2017 at home. Born in Buffalo, NY on October 28, 1929. He was the son of Michael J. and Lorretta (Lichtenthal) Spitzer. Michael worked in customer service for National Fuel and retired in 1985. Following his retirement, he enjoyed traveling with his wife all over the world.
Father of Michael (Rosemary) Spitzer, Marian (Larry) Frisby, Martha (Stephen) Smirles, Marjorie (John) Kitching and the late William Spitzer; grandfather of five; great grandfather of ten; brother of John (Peggy) Spitzer and the late Robert and William Spitzer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
There will be no prior visitation. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, June 12th at 10:00 AM in St. John the Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport.
