Obituary of Ronald Wilson

Ronald James Wilson passed away August 14, 2010 in Niagara Hospice House after a short illness. Born June 9, 1957 in Lockport, he was the son of the late Rita Wilson. Ron worked for Niagara County as a CNA at the Mount View Health Facility for over 30 years, upon its closing he transferred to the Niagara County Court House where he worked in the Maintenance Dept. He was a member and Chief Steward of AFSCME Local 182. An avid bowler, Ron was very proud to wear his ring for a perfect 300 game; he also enjoyed NASCAR races and his beloved NY Yankee's.
Ron is survived by his sister Ellen (Michael) Vincent; uncle of Erin Vincent and great uncle of Skylea Vincent all of Lockport. He is also survived by his Aunt, Mary Jane Brolinski, several cousins and his extended Mount View "Family".
Friends may call Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, where funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Memorials to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, 14094 would be appreciated by the family.
