It was my delight to meet and teach classes often on the "other side of the wall" from Art at NCCC... i enjoyed laughing with him and listening to his commentaries about the myriad of issues happening on campus and in the world. He was a kind gentleman. I was so saddened to hear of his death.

Mr Arthur, you, and your mom (Ms Eve Taylor) are truly missed! I am on the phone with my mother Paulette Ross who just had me send your obituary to her... she did not know you passed away. My sister and I went to your mothers home almost everyday to visit Richard and her. We loved Miss Taylors home and would often pretend that it was our home. We did this for years until we finished High School and became adults. We were still in contact with your mom and Richard even after the sale of her home. My mom, sister and myself have years of memories and loved your family while they were living in Newburgh. You all are truly missed. Your moms legacy now lives through three of the family generations...

It was my distinct pleasure to know, admire and work with Arthur from the beginning of his NCCC career. He was a gentleman and dedicated professional truly deserving of the Prosessor title. I really enjoyed our many interchanges and his sense of humor. He will be truly missed by his colleagues and most of all his many students.
To his family and many friends I extend my heartfelt sympathy and condolences. May he Rest In Peace.

To the Taylor family,
I am sorry to hear about Art's passing.
I had the honor of being a student of Art's at NCCC. I had him for several classes. His public speaking class and debate class helped shape me for the person I am today.
He was a great teacher, a great adviser and a great man.
Take care,
Joe Todaro

Mr. Taylor was a wonderful man that was a large part of my childhood. I grew up in the daycare at NCCC and joining my father, a professor in the Communications department, on various workdays as the two of them worked side by side to serve the community and students at NCCC. I wish nothing but my sincerest condolences and prayers to the Taylor family in this difficult time.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Taylor family.
I attended NCCC and majored in the communication program about 10 years ago. I never had the privilege of having Mr. Taylor as a teacher but did talk to him many times as he was headed to lunch or a meeting or whatever.
He always took the time to be personable and even students who never took his classes knew who he was..
I believe the college community is a better place because of the time and energy he invested there..
May God be with you all during this time!

Prayers to Arthur ' s wife daughter and son. He loved you so. He loved music . Loved to pop into my American Popular music class and give an impromptu lecture on whoever was the artist of the day, especially Michael Jackson. He truly had a musical soul. I always lo ed the musical way he said my name, Low...is with his lowest vocal tones. Watch over your family. You are loved and will be remembered.

Mr. Taylor was my Speech professor this semester, and going into his class was always an experience. His stories were funny, and you could always find him hanging out in the cafeteria. Everyone in the school knew Mr. Taylor as one of the best Speech teachers. When word got out that he had passed away, everyone in class, and those who had had him as a teacher, were devastated.
