Obituary of Daryl Swan

Daryl Swan passed away August 15, 2010 in Buffalo, New York. Born April 28, 1957, he is the son of Thelma Swan of Gasport, and the late LaVerne Swan. He was a design engineer for the Department of Transportation. He is a Graduate of Royalton Hartland School and Niagara University. Also he is a Gulf war Veteran where he received the Army Commendation medal for serving with the 4th MP Brigade of Germany while in Saudi Arabia and Southern Iraq. Daryl is a Major in the Army Reserve with the 402 Civil Affairs Battalion, Tonawanda. He is also a former Eagle Scout of Troop 18. Daryl will be sadly missed and is survived by his brother David(Diane) Swan, and his sister Debra(John) Swan-Wolford. He is also survived by a niece Angel Swan. Relatives and friends may call Wednesday 4-7 PM in Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. Graveside Services will be held Thursday morning 11AM at Cold Spring Cemetery.
