Obituary of Corrine Lyle-Guerra

Corrine Audrey Lyle-Guerra was called Home to be with the Lord, Monday August 16, 2010, in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born July 20, 1934 in Buffalo, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Ethel Smith Metz. Corrine was a devoted mother and homemaker, who enjoyed spending time with her family and making pretties. She was an avid lover of animals and flowers and will be sadly missed by her family. Corrine is predeceased by her husband Eugene R. Guerra Jr. She was the mother of Jean (Scott) Strickland of Lockport, Debra (Timothy) Wilkerson of Las Vegas, NV., Blanche (Rhett) Wright of Alabama, Clifton Lyle of Lockport, Tina (Alexander) Lebron of Buffalo and Eugene (Christie) Guerra of North Tonawanda. Corrine is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was the sister of Donna (Walter) Malesa of Angola, NY and Donald Metz, Jr. Also lifelong friend and companion Ron. Friends may call Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, where funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 10 AM. Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.
