Dear Carl, Donna, and PJ Crane, Tim, Tom, Annie, Andrew, Dudley and David,
My God! We just learned of Sandy’s passing on March 17th, from our friend, and former neighbor to Jack & Sandy, Pete. I just spoke to you but a few weeks ago; and received your sister PJ’s email just 8 days ago regarding my letter and card to you for Carla. Having lost Jack, Carla, and now Sandy in such a short time frame is unfathomable.
I remember the many visits with Sandy and Jack at the High St. house when my brother Geoff and Tim were friends during, and after high school. However, I remember Sandy’s tongue-in-cheek, amusing deadpan personality though, always a fun conversationalist. Then, there was Jack with his “aw shucks” “Jimmy Stewart”, “Henry Fonda” persona. They were a very warm, and loving couple.
Nonetheless, as I wrote to you about Jack and Carla, now Sandy too, is at peace, no longer in pain, and in a much better place now. We’ll be seeing them all soon when our time comes…
We extend our heartfelt condolences to you, Donna, the Hinton and Crane families.
Sincerely,
Donnie and Family

Tim, Tom, Ann, Andy, Dudley and David,
My condolences to each of you and may the memories of your mother help you through this period of grief. I have many fond memories of your mother out on the front porch, not only on East Ave, but on Howard Ave during the days of our youth. Wonderful person that always had a smile, the wave of her hand and a hello.
Peace be with each of you.
