Richard Holler passed away August 12, 2010 in Elderwood Health Care Facility at Crestwood. Born September 22, 1934 in Tonawanda he was the son of Wilbert and Bertha (Schroeder) Holler. Richard served in the US Army from 1956 to 1958. He was employed by Holler Bros. Construction Co. in Tonawanda and retired as President/Treasurer after 41 years, retiring in 1993. Richard built several churches, buildings in the area. He was a member of Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church, the Carpenter Local #289, Pendleton Senior Citizens Center, several construction organizations and Rushford Lake Landowners Association. Richard enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and sports. Richard is survived by his wife of 51 years Marilynn (Wagner) Holler of Pendleton; father of Beth (Gary) Grimmer, Brian (Mary) Holler both of Pendleton, Gregory (Melissa) Holler of Lockport, James (Lisa) Holler of North Tonawanda, Kathleen (Paul) Moje of Pendleton and Lynn (Jeffrey) Orlowski of Tonawanda; grandfather of sixteen and great grandfather of three; brother of Sr. Mary Wilma Holler, OSFS of Williamsville, Blake (late Lillian) Holler of Wheatfield, Betty (late Ben) Ford of Nashville, TN, Doris (late Clark) Murray of Ohio, Imelda (late Bob) McDonnell of Grand Island, Virginia (Albert) Wullen of Williamsville, Kenneth (Judy) Holler of Wheatfield, the late Jack (Lucille) Holler and Eugene (Barbara) Holler; several nieces, nephews and friends. Relatives and friends may call Saturday 7-9 PM and Sunday 1-5 PM in Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 AM in Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church, 5442 Tonawanda Creek Rd., N., Pendleton. Interment will be in Good Shepherd Cemetery. Memorials to the Alzheimers Association of WNY, 2805 Wehrle Dr., Suite 6, Williamsville, NY 14221-7380 or to the Summit Educational Resources, 150 Stahl Rd., Getzville, NY 14068 would be appreciated by the family.
