Alyce LaPort passed away February 27, 2017 in Briody Health Care facility.Born December 11, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Harry E. and Grace (Manzer) Davis. Alyce worked in production at Norton Labs for 40 years retiring in 1981. She also was an officer with the UAW Local 686 for 25 years and Industrial Relations for 10 years. Longtime member of St. John the Baptist Church.
Alyce is survived by her husband of 57 years Jacob LaPort; mother of Patrick Lee Stickney of Florida, Kathy Ann LaPort of Lockport and the late Michaeleen Fisk.
Relatives and friends may call Sunday March 5, 2017 from 1 to 4 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday March 6, 2017 at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport, NY. Online condolences at www.pruddenandkandt.com.
