Obituary of Roy E. Garlock

Roy E. Garlock passed away February 23, 2017 in the Odd Fellow & Rebekah Rehab & Health Care Center. Born in Lockport September 24, 1932 he was the son of Roy H. and Marion Garlock. Roy served in the US Army from 1952 to 1954. He worked for New York State in the Department of Transportation where he retired as a Foreman. He enjoyed sports, gardening, camping, and dancing. Roy was predeceased by his wife Joan (Freer) Garlock on December 3, 2008.
Roy is survived by his two children, Gary (Kathy Horanburg) Garlock and Lori (late Herb) Messing; his three grandchildren, Jacob (Karen) Messing, Nicole Bates, and Erin Messing; also several great grandchildren; his sister, Celia Gaze and one niece and one nephew.
Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service on Tuesday, Feb. 28th at 10:30 AM in the Lockport Alliance Church, 555 Davison Rd., Lockport. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
