Garvie D. Sluder, Jr. passed away February 21, 2017. Born February 14, 1959 in Harve Grace, MD he was the son of Garvie D. and Earline (Canipe) Sluder, Sr. Garvie worked for High Tread in Lockport where he was a laborer. He enjoyed NASCAR and especially enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Garvie is survived by his wife of 19 years, Sandra (Gillespie) Sluder; father of Jeremy Lennon, Jose (Stephanie) Cruz, Erin Lennon, Stephanie Sluder, Annette Lennon-Smith, and Angela (Patrick) Mangan; grandfather of 14; brother of Gail Johnson, Judy Crowhorn, Tammy Sluder, and Debbie Moll; also several nieces and nephews.
