Obituary of Samuel L. Turco

Samuel L. Turco passed away on Saturday February 18, 2017 in Buffalo General Hospital. He was born on September 15, 1953 in Lockport, NY, a son of the late Thomas and Lorenna (Drake) Turco. Sam was the Immediate Past President of the Sunrise Optimist Club, a member of the UAW Pistol Club. He was an avid golfer and loved to go fishing and hunting.
Sam is survived by his wife Mary (Newman) Turco; his daughter Deanna Turco; his brother-in-law; Leonard Tilney. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Sam was predeceased by his sister Clara Tilney.
Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday February 22, 2017 and Thursday February 23, 2017 from 3-7PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home 242 Genesee St. Lockport, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday February 24, 2017 at 10:00AM in St. John the Baptist Church 168 Chestnut St. Lockport, NY. Interment will be in Huskey Cemetery.
