John E. Park, 87, of Pendleton, entered into rest on January 24, 2017. Born in Nanty-Glo, PA on August 5, 1929 he moved to Western New York in 1949. John was honorably discharged from the US Army which he served from February 27, 1947 to November 15, 1949 achieving the rank of Corporal. John worked and retired from National Fuel. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 375 F & AM State of New York, Lockport and was a onetime avid sport shooter and pool player and also enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his family.
John is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Josephine C. Park (San Martin); sons John E. (Angela Nader) Park, III of Orchard Park, NY and Leonard J. (Deborah Lisiewicz) Park of Catawissa, PA; his five grandchildren, Brooke, Jonathan, Celina, Kaitlyn, and Hanna; brother of Robert, James, Marylou and Naomi; also several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Mass Saturday, Feb. 11th at 10 AM at Good Shepard Roman Catholic Church, 5442 Tonawanda Creek North. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
