Henry J. Wright Jr., 82, of Lockport passed away on January 22, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Henry was born on October 28, 1934 a son of the late Henry and Mary (Petoniak) Wright, Sr. Henry graduated from DeSales Catholic School and was a mason for more than 50 years with Local 45 in Buffalo, NY. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was President of the DeSales Booster Club. You could see Henry working Bingo at DeSales on Friday nights. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He is survived by his wife; Judith (Crane) Wright; his children; Henry (Michelle) Wright III, Jeanine (Peter) Denes, Matthew (Sheila) Wright, Patrick (Christina) Wright Sr., John Wright, Douglas Wright, Jennifer (Jeffrey) Waters, and Derek Wright; 21 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother and two sisters. Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 from 4-8PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home 242 Genesee St. Lockport, NY 14094. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church 168 Chestnut St. Lockport. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
