Ralph R. Tagg passed away on Wednesday January 4, 2017, in Newfane Rehab and Health Care Center. Born in Lockport on April 19, 1934, he was the son of the late Charles and Anna Sibolski Tagg. Ralph served in the US Army and worked in production at Harrison Radiator, he was also a member of Emmanuel Unted Methodist Church. He enjoyed gardening, working in fire service and spending time with his family. Ralph is predeceased by his wife, Barbara (nee McGowan) Tagg, who passed away August 3, 1999.
Ralph was the father of Ralph R. (Patricia) Tagg Jr. and John (Cathy) Tagg; step father of Ronald Shields and the late Joan Shields; grandfather of Julie, Jessica, Katlyn and Jayden; brother of Helen (Donald) Klock, Janet Tagg and the late Edward, George, Charles, Floyd, Franklin, James, Geraldine House and Louise Gardner. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Sunday January 8th 1-3 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, where services will immediately follow at 3 PM. Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery. Online condolences at www.pruddenandkandt.com.
