Obituary of Marion I. Miller

Marion Miller age 92 took the hand of Jesus to meet her heavenly family on January 1, 2017 at home under the care of Hospice, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on February 5, 1924 to the late Edmund and Grace Tallman Hilts.
Predeceased by her husband of 61 years A. Richard Miller.
Marion graduated Lockport High in 1940. She was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church over 60 years, before moving to Gasport in 2002 where she attended Covenant United Church of Christ.
She was a Girl Scout leader, a supervisor for Lockport Triangle and a 60 year member of Lockport Eastern Star.
Marion worked at Ames Department store. She enjoyed reading, sewing, baking pies and Christmas cookies but most of all being with her family. She and her husband enjoyed travelling.
She is survived by her daughters Pamela (William) Korff, Beth (Roger) White, and Cheryl (James) Felvus. Grandchildren Tracie Miller, Richard Korff, David Miller; Amy (John) Seefeldt Christopher (Kristina) Korff; Scott (Lisa) White; Andrew Miller; Michael (Mallory) Felvus and Maile Felvus and 7 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her son David (Joyce).
Friends may call at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, Genesee St, Lockport from
7 to 9 on Thursday and 2-4 and 7-9 on Friday. Eastern Star service Thursday at 8:30. Funeral services to be held on Saturday January 7 at 11:00 am with Rev John Tipton officiating.
Memorials to Hospice or Covenant Church would be appreciated.
