Obituary of Sherry L. Cook

Sherry L. Cook passed away December 19, 2016 surrounded by her loving family, in Niagara Hospice House. Born in Lockport July 26, 1951 she is the daughter of Glen Cooper and late Clara (Pernet) Cooper. Sherry was a graduate of Barker High School and worked as a nurses aide for several years at Newfane Rehab & Health Care Center and also Mount View Health Care Facility. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends, she also enjoyed fishing, going on vacation, digging for precious stones and absolutely loved taking care of her many flowers and plants.
Besides her father Sherry is also survived by her husband Robert Cook; mother of Christopher (Krissy) Budziszewski and Jeffrey (Devon) Budziszewski; grandmother of Emilee Bisher and Taylor Budziszewski; sister of Glenda (David) Hodgkinson, Diane Murphy, Wayne (Ellen) Cooper, Roxanne (Doug) Fitch, Mark (Vera) Cooper, Glenn Cooper, and Boyd (Lynn) Cooper; in-laws of Donald (Virginia) Cook, Jr., Carol Wiswell, Jean (Roy) Sax, Kenneth (Ellen) Cook, and Linda (Roy) Clare; also several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Thursday, Dec. 22nd from 3-7 PM with services following at 7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. Donations to Niagara Hospice would be appreciated. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
