Gerald Lewis Pierce passed away Saturday July 24, 2010 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born August 14, 1945 in Lockport, he was the son of the late Harold and Celia Doloifio Pierce. Gerald worked construction with his family at Pierce Roofing and Siding for 50 years, starting when he was a young man. He enjoyed being a vendor at flea markets. Gerald is survived by his wife Dawn (Tillotson) Pierce of Lockport. He was the father of Julie Arnold of Oklahoma and Gerald Pierce Jr. and Connie Pierce both of Lockport. Grandfather of Christopher and Timothy Tatroe, Dustin Sawyer, Jasmine Arnold, Kayla, Kirsten and Carrie Koller and Junior Valentino Pierce. Gerald was the brother of Donald (Joanne) Pierce of Lockport and the late Richard Pierce. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Wednesday 5 to 6 PM followed immediately by a funeral service at 6 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, Inc., 242 Genesee Street, Lockport.
