Obituary of Charlotte R. Herb

Charlotte Herb passed away suddenly on Thursday September 29, 2016. Born April 9, 1946 in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Leonard & Catherine (McIlroy) Herb. Charlotte resided in Buffalo, NY with her "family" at the CSDD Niagara IRA. She was recently retired from Heritage Center-Allentown Industries-where she took great pride in her work. Charlotte enjoyed watching TV, music, having her hair done and manicures. She was a member of the Heart Club and Heritage Centers Adult Social Club. She had previously attended Bible Presbyterian Church on Grand Island, NY. Charlotte showed unconditional love to her family, her face would light up with each visit whether it had been 1 week or 1 month. She enjoyed her coffee, donuts and smoothies from Tim Hortons. We were blessed to celebrate her 70th birthday this past April with all her siblings & their families. Charlotte is survived by her sisters: Loretta Sojka of Niagara Falls, Cathy Clement (Mark Brown) of Lockport, Ellen Licinio of Newfane, Ruby Herb of Lockport and her brother Leonard Herb (Robin) of Florida. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, & nephews. The family would like to acknowledge & thank the staff and residents of her IRA home for all the love and support. Thank you also to her Hospice Team for the "quality" of her life the last nine months. A memorial service will be held on Saturday October 29, 2016 at 11am at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport. Donations to Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
