Charles D. Lenihan passed away October 9, 2016 in Niagara Falls Medical Center. Born in Lockport on February 22, 1937 he was the son of Robert and Florence (Ackerman) Lenihan. Charlie was a barber and then opened Charlie's Tavern on Walnut Street after selling the tavern went back to barbering for Sanitary Barber Shop. He was a member of the Navy Marine Club, American Legion, Moose and several clubs and organizations. He was predeceased by his wife Cheryl (Requa) Lenihan on March 1, 2005. Charles is survived by his daughter Leslie Mursuli; step-daughters Deborah Robison and Michele Nolan; grandchildren Quinn (Mark) Putaski, Lindy Hartunian, Katrina Richardson, and Kelsey Mursuli; great grandchildren Dominic and Landon Putaski; siblings Kathleen Richter, Candace (Robert) Fox, and late Richard (Cheryl) and William Lenihan. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Cheryl Lenihan and several nieces and nephews.
