William J. Solotes passed away July 21, 2010 in Niagara Hospice House. Born July 13, 1943 in Lockport he is the son of William and Dorothy (Rising) Solotes. William was a machinist at Sherwood Celpac for 23 years retiring in 1991. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, gardening and spending time with his family and dog Buster.
William is survived by his wife of 42 years Kathy (Horton) Solotes of Lockport; father of Scott (Brigitte) Solotes, Tracy (Sarah Bellow) Solotes and Jeffrey Solotes all of Lockport; grandfather of Anthony, Scott, Amber, Haley, Emily and Cameron; brother of Sandra King of Port St. Lucie, FL and Linda (Richard) Solotes-Rounds of Lyndonville.
Relatives and friends may call Saturday 4-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will immediately follow at 7 PM.
