Obituary of Maureen Dracup

Maureen Dracup passed away September 23, 2016 under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Lockport on July 27, 1930 she was the daughter of Albert and Mary Ann (O'Connor) Harris. Maureen served as an election inspector, was a former member of the Cambria Volunteer Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Lockport where she belonged to the Bell Choir. Maureen enjoyed spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Dracup on March 18, 2007.
Maureen is survived by her children Daniel (Becky) Dracup, Dennis (Chris) Dracup, David (Cindy) Dracup, Darrel Dracup, Dawn (Craig) Carson, Durann Vitali and late John Dracup; grandmother of 20 and great grandmother of 25; sister of Geraldine Lein, Betty Wolcott, and late Mary, George, Mike, Albert, and Victor; several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, Sept. 27th from 4-8 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 28th at 10 AM in First Presbyterian Church, 21 Church St., Lockport. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
