Obituary of Charles J. Stephanski

Charles J. Stephanski passed away August 21, 2016 in Buffalo General Medical Center. Born in Lockport on August 15, 1931 he was the son of Joseph and Irene (Wicks) Stephanski. Charles served in the US Navy from 1948 to 1952 aboard the USS Sicily during the Korean War. He worked for 35 years for Harrison Radiator where he was a pipe fitter retiring in 1995. Charles was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed fishing, hunting and especially being with his family.
Charles is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Canaski) Stephanski of Lockport; father of Kathleen (Jerome) Bucolo of Lockport, Debra Janolek of Gulf Breeze, FL, Charles (Faith) Stephanski of Chesapeake, VA and late Richard Stephanski; grandfather of Lorelle Stephanski, Michael Stephanski, Amy (Jake) Baes, and Christopher (Stephanie) Bucolo; brother of Norma (Richard) Mis of North Tonawanda; brother-in-law of Connie (Wayne) Mason, Patricia DiMascio and late Mary Ann Roberts; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
