To Mrs. Hinton, Tim, Tom, Ann, and The Hinton Family,
I was saddened to hear of your father's passing. He was a kind gentleman with a kind heart and warmhearted soul; willing to help anyone who needed it without passing judgment.
Take solace in knowing that your father lived a long and productive life, and for that, you can be thankful. I'm sure he's hamming it up with his brother Charlie, and the rest of his siblings. My God, we’re going to miss him dearly.
He's at peace, and in a much better place now, and we'll be seeing him again soon…
With Heartfelt Condolences,
Donnie & Family

Lots of warm memories come to mind when I think of Mr. Hinton. Most of them center around DeSales football games and one in particular. The boys were playing at Outwater Park, it was cold and rainy, Mr. Hinton had one of the boy's German Shepherds with him in the yellow Suburban. WLVL was broadcasting the game and Jack had managed a parking spot along the fence for a pretty good view of the game. He offered to let me sit in the truck and listen to the game with him and the dog. In good weather, we'd have been down in the end zone hollering at Duddy, David, Pat & Matt Wright to destroy the opponents, but we had to contain ourselves to the truck that day. Then the coffee kicked in and Jack excused himself which left me and the dog in the truck. I too felt the call of nature and stepped out to leave the dog listening to the game. He put his paw on the door and managed to lock himself and the keys in the truck with Jack and me left in the cold & rain. Trust me, if he were upset, he never let on. He was such a gentleman and fatherly about the mishap. He was always kind to me and my father thought very highly of him as a professional and as a man. My sincere condolences to the Hinton family and may you all find peace.
