Obituary of Joan Grigg

Joan Ann Grigg passed away Friday July 17, 2010. Born November 3, 1932 in Gasport, she was the daughter of the late George and Ethel Bauer Hardiman. She was a graduate of Lockport High School, class of 1950 and the St. Joseph's Business School. Joan worked in the Niagara County Clerks Office for over 20 years, retiring as the Senior Accounts Clerk. She was a member of the Kenan Arts Council, Kenagers, the Lockport Red Hat Society Canal Cutie's #16279, Order of Eastern Stars Lockport Chapter #73, the Dale Association and the Buffalo Greyhound Adoption. Joan was predeceased by her husband John C. Grigg, who passed away August 4, 1996. Joan is survived by her daughters Dr. Gail (David Bentley) Grigg of Kendall, NY and Linda (James) Grigg-Moore of Irvine, CA. She is also survived by her grandchildren Erin (Jesse) Snyder, Emma Holahan, Colin Moore and Bridger Moore. Friends may call Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, Inc., 242 Genesee Street, Lockport., where services will be held Wednesday morning at 11 AM. Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.
