Obituary of Mary E. Wick

Surrounded by family, Mary E. Wick passed away peacefully in Briody Health Care Facility on August 12, 2016. She was born in Clarence Center, NY on February 23, 1926 to Howard R. and Florence H. (Christensen) Eichinger. Her life was devoted to her family and Mary was an active member of St. Brenden On The Lake Church and the Newfane Senior Citizens. She served as past president of St. Mary's R.C. Church Mother's Club. Mary was a social butterfly and enjoyed playing cards with friends, bowling, ad was an avid reader. She was predeceased by her grandson Kevin Wick and great grandson Asa Martin McHenry.
Mary is survived by her husband Cyril M. Wick; mother of Ronald Wick, Phyllis (Boyd) Clausen, Paul (Kathleen) Wick, Gerard Wick, Catherine (John) Donovan, Judith (Joseph) Carr, Elizabeth (Daniel) Beiter, and Jennifer (Robert) Lynch; grandmother of 24 and great grandmother of 34; sister of Howard (Lois) Eichinger and late James Eichinger; sister-in-law of Marce Eichenger; several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Monday, Aug. 15th from 4-8 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, Aug. 16th at 11 AM in St. Brenden On The Lake, Newfane. Interment will be in Wrights Corners Cemetery. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
