Harry F. Sherriff passed away Wednesday August 3, 2016 in the McAuley Residence in Tonawanda, NY. Born in Hartland, NY on December 25, 1918, he was the son of the late Franklin and Ella Schilling Sherriff. Harry was the Vice President for many years at Van De Mark Chemical, in Lockport. He was a member of the Emmanuel United Methodist Church, where he served as an Usher. He enjoying gardening, especially his flowers, golfing, bowling and antique cars. Harry was the husband of Yolanda (DiSanto) Sherriff, and the late Phyllis Sherriff, who passed away in 1981.
Besides his wife, Harry is survived by his children, Richard (Maggie) Sherriff, Andrea O'Connor, Nancy L. (late Robert) Dobkin, Todd Munsell and Renee (David) Perrington; grandfather of eight and great grandfather of fourteen. Harry is also predeceased by his brothers, Clifford and Henry.
Friends may call on Saturday 12-1 PM, in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, where services will immediately follow at 1 PM. Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.
