Obituary of Sue Lewis

Sue K. Lewis passed into the Lord's keeping on July 13, 2010, at Niagara Hospice House, surrounded by her family. She was born in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas on September 10, 1926, the daughter of the late John Thomas and Minnie Lee Kizziar.
She is survived by her children, daughter MaryEtta (Lewis) Roeser, son-in-law Charles Roeser, son Robert Michael Lewis Jr., and predeceased by daughter Karen Sue Lewis, grandson Michael Shawn Lewis and wife and several nieces and nephews. She was especially fond of her Hospice aides Sandy Raff and Elizabeth Barnum, her Hospice social worker Marvin Wolf and her longtime friend Martha Kuntz.
Sue was employed as a fashion model by the Ferrell Modeling Agency of Buffalo, N.Y. She also modeled for Seventeen Magazine and was offered a Revlon modeling contract in the 1950's. She was also employed by Reeds Jewelers for many years and Niagara County in data processing.
There will be no prior visitation. Interment will be at Lawrence Memorial Cemetery
in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in her name to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Dr. A.J. Bax, Dr. Serena, and the many wonderful nurses and aides, social workers Brenda Tapia and Marvin Wolf, and manager Sal Lipuma and staff for their wonderful care.
