Sheila A. Renna (Cleary) passed peacefully in the company of her family on July 8, 2016. Born in Lockport on January 28, 1934 she was the daughter of Bessie and James Cleary. Sheila worked at Lockport Memorial Hospital as an aide and then at AAA as a travel agent for many years. She enjoyed traveling, attending church with friends and helping others. A social butterfly, she was always a friendly face at Tops greeting customers with her twinkling smile. Sheila volunteered for many years with Big Brother/Big Sister Organization and Niagara Hospice.
Predeceased by her husband Gary Renna and her daughter Cathy Renna and brother Jack (Sylvia) Cleary. Survived by daughters; Molly (Joe) Stachera, Teresa (Thomas) Hull, Diane Renna. Her brothers; Richard (Lillian) Cleary, Thomas (Pat) Cleary; her grandchildren; Nicole Hemmer, Sarah (Jake) Eschborn, Patrick Hemmer, Kaitlyn (Dan) Wojewoda, Carly Hull and Haley Hull; also survived by three great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday July 13th from 5-9PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St. Lockport, NY. A Memorial Mass will be offered on Thursday at 2 PM in St. John the Baptist R.C. Church 168 Chestnut St. Lockport, NY. Donations to Niagara Hospice House 4675 Sunset Drive Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated by the family.
