Mitchell J. Fura passed away Saturday July 2, 2016 in Wilmington, NC. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on October 21, 1993, he was the son of Christopher Fura and Cynthia (Barry) Quintana Sala. Mitchell worked in construction with Brigham Construction. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, baseball and hockey. He is predeceased by his grandmother Carol Quintana.
Beside his parents, Mitchell is survived by his grandparents John and Jean Fura of Lockport; his uncle, Robert Fura, and his aunts, Alicia (Doug) Mawhiney, Mary Jo Fura, Jennifer (Mark) Bucholtz and Lisa and Steve Routhier; he is also survived by several cousins.
Friends may call Sunday July 10th 1-5 PM, in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday July 11th at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport. Interment will be in North Ridge Cemetery.
