Norman A. Truax passed away suddenly July 13, 2010. Born July 16, 1936 in Gasport he was the son of Perry R. and Mary A. (Snediker) Truax. Norman worked Harrison Radiator where he was an assembler. He enjoyed going to the casino, playing BINGO and gardening.
Norman is survived by his wife Barbara (Adams) Truax of Lockport whom he married October 2, 1967; step-father of Mary Lou (Philip) Clay and James R. Trombley; grandfather of Julia (George) Wiley, Joanna (James) Bennett, James (Kristen) Trombley, Jr., Joseph (Stephanie) Wilson and Jamie (Kimberly) Wilson; several great grandchildren; brother of Jeanette (Brud) Hamminga, Harold (Ann) Truax, Richard Truax and the late Dorothy (Leonard) McCabe, Robert Truax, Ruth (Michael) Delplato and Kenneth Truax; brother-in-law of Ida Mae (Cindy) Truax; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
There will be no prior visitation. A memorial service will be Thursday at 1 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. Please visit www.pruddenandkandt.com to leave an online condolence.
