Josephine M. Adams went home to be with the Lord on June 28, 2016 at ENH Lockport. Born in Lockport on April 28, 1924, she was the daughter of Rosario and Loretta (Federico) Sanmarco. Josephine was an executive secretary at the College Inn in Lockport. She was also a teletype operator for the US&J. She was the oldest living member of Clinton St. United Methodist Church. Josephine was predeceased by her husband Rudolph Adams on January 26, 1990. Josephine is survived by her two daughters, Laurette (Roger) Hulse, and Christine (Michael) Zapp, both of Lockport; granddaughter Jennifer Bell of Jonesboro, AR; great grandsons Michael (RyAnne), and Nathan Bell; sister of the late Vincenzo Sanmarco, Joseph Sanmarco, and Rose Pipitone; also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great-great grandchildren. The family would like to thank all the staff at Odd Fellow & Rebekah HCC for all their care and compassion to Josephine over many years. Relatives and friends may call Friday, July 1, 2016 from 3-7pm at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, where funeral services will be held Saturday, July 2nd at 10am.
