Obituary of Sheila Robinson

Sheila Sy Robinson of Lockport, New York passed away suddenly Friday July 9, 2010 with her children Lester J. Robinson III and Margaret (Raymond) Simmons by her side. Will be deeply missed by many; her two granddaughters, Laura and Ann Marie Simmons; sister-in-law Mary (late Thomas Sy); three nephews, Thomas (Diane) Sy, Timothy (Ann) Sy, Michael (Bridget) Sy and six great-nieces. Sheila was predeceased by her loving husband of 41 years Lester "Joe" Robinson, Jr. and her parents Elwood and Margaret Sy. Sheila was born April 18, 1943. She graduated from SUNY Brockport with a degree in Special Education. She retired from Wyndham Lawn Campus School to enjoy many trips and antique car adventures with her loving husband by her side. Sheila was known to have a generous smile and a loving heart. She was a Life Member of the Lockport Junior Service League, Past Member of the Lockport College Women's Club, and an active member of the Dale Society. There will be no prior visiting hours. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 17, 2010 at Saint Mary's Church, 5 Saxton St., Lockport, NY at 10 AM.
