Marjorie Ann Aspell Roblee passed into the presence of Jesus, June 8, 2016 in Briody Health Care Facility. Born July 29, 1928 in Buffalo she was the daughter of William G. and Norma E. (Powell) Aspell. Marjorie was a graduate of Fillmore Central School majoring in business. She was a bookkeeper for several businesses in the Western New York area retiring from M&M Plumbing & Electric in Farmersville Station, NY. She faithfully attended the Lockport Missionary Alliance Church where she belonged to the Young at Heart Bible Study and Senior Adult group. Marjorie enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and card games. She was predeceased by her husband Merritt L. Roblee in October 1993.
Marjorie is survived by her children, Steven L. (Judith Alderson) Roblee of Chino Hills, California and Rebecca S. Roblee of Lockport; grandmother of William A. (Rebecca Burrows) Bliss of Parkville, MO; Matthew A. Roblee of San Francisco, California; D. Eric (Sarah Sheehan) Bliss of Doylestown, PA; Steven A. (Natascha Coelho) Roblee of Kaneohe, Hawaii; eight great grandchildren; sister of Virginia E. Aspell Babbitt of Fillmore, NY; Janet H. Aspell Arnold of Hemlock, NY; predeceased by Lillian M. Aspell Bays of Wellsville, NY; sister-in-law of Ilene Roblee (Jerome) Nichols of Naples, NY; Joyce Davis (Anson) Roblee of Depew, NY; Olive Roblee (Leonard) Morgan of Freedom, NY; and Margaret Hoffman (Lincoln) Roblee of Farmersville, NY; also survived several nieces and nephews.
Private funeral services will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations made be made to the Lockport Missionary Alliance Church or the Wounded Warriors Project would be appreciated.
