Rosemary Wahler Twomey Granchelli 1932–2016. Beloved mother of Mary Susan (Carol) Twomey, Trisha (Jim) Twomey, Amy (Ken) Jackson, Kathleen (Elie) Maalouf, Ellen (Mark) Mostoller, Anne (David) Anstead, Pat (Lynda Jo) Granchelli, Nicholas (Regina) Granchelli, Mary Lee (Dave) Haylett, Joe (Leslie) Granchelli, and Jessie (Tom) Haley. Grandmother to Alexandra, Amy, Andrew, Casey A, Casey G, Cameron, Camille, Christian, Corey, David A, David H, Gabriel, Jessica, John, Julian, Matthew, Nicole, Patrick G, Patrick H, Phillip and Tessa, and great-grandmother to nine. Daughter of the late Francis and Mary Daly Wahler, sister to the late Rita Minderler, wife to the late Nicholas Granchelli. Rosemary was a good friend to many. She graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in 1950 and Buffalo State University in 1953. She received a Masters of Education from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 1956. She was a teacher and a social worker, as well as many other roles. She was a woman of deep faith and grace, and while our lives are diminished by her passing, the population of heaven is enhanced.
Relatives and friends may call Thursday, June 2nd from 4-8 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, June 3rd at 11 AM in All Saints Parish, 76 Church St., Lockport. Inurnment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
