Gene Arnold Taylor passed away May 28, 2016 under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Lockport on January 14, 1938 he was the son of Arnold A. and Marjorie (Sattler) Taylor. Gene was a Newfane High School graduate and served in the Army Reserve. He worked for 38 years in Harrison radiator retiring in 1999 as a foreman. Gene enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, bowling, and bowling.
Gene is survived by his wife Darlene (Russell) Taylor of Lockport; father of Deborah (William) Houck, Gerald Taylor and late Michael Taylor; step-father of Frank (Marie) Stanton, Scott Stanton, and Danielle (Vishal) Konnur; grandfather of six of which one is dececeased and great grandfather of three; brother of Gail (Douglas) Wallace. Also survived by three nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Saturday, June 4th from 10 AM – 1 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where services will be at 1 PM. Memorials to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive would be appreciated by the family. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
