Veronica A. Bernardi passed away July 19, 2009 in Hospice House after a lengthy illness. Born March 10, 1957 in Batavia she is the daughter of Arthur Berger of Palm Harbor, FL and Marie Sweeny Berger of Lockport. Veronica taught pre-scholl for 15 years at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, Lockport, worked at Curve's and also was Manager at Molinaro's Pizzeria and Caffe. She was active in gardening, knitting, walking, kayaking, cross country skiing and bike riding. Veronica loved Life is Good clothing, Vera Bradley Handbags and her cat "Buddy", but her number one love was everything to do with family.
Veronica is survived by her husband Randy Bernardi, sons Ryan C. and Gregory Bernardi; sister of Thomas (Sharon) Berger and Ann Marie Berger. She is also survived by several in-laws, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
There will be no prior visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial Mass to be celebrated Saturday July 25, 2009 at 10 o'clock in St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport, NY. Memorials to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated by the family.
