Irene S. Roczniak of Lockport, NY passed away inexpectedly April 28, 2016 in Eastern Niagara Hospital. Irene was born December 2, 1955 in Lipa, Poland, the daughter of Chester and Charlotte (Mozgawa) Jaworski. She was predeceased by her husband Stanley Roczniak in December of 2005. For several years Irene worked in the Starpoint School District in the maintenance department. Irene enjoyed knitting, crocheting, collecting crystal and figurines and her cat including the current crazy one, because her son and daughter are cat lovers. Her favorite joy came when she visited Florida to see her parents and grandchildren and going to the beach to collect seashells. Besides her parents she is survived by her daughter Julie (Shawn) Mullen of Santa Rosa Beach, FL, her son Jack Roczniak of Lockport; grandmother of David, Jessica and Joseph Harrigan and sister to Heidi Jaworski. Relatives and friends may call Tuesday May 3, 2016 from 3 to 7 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday May 4, 2016 in All Saints R.C. Church, 76 Church Street, Lockport, NY. Interment will be in Mt. View Cemetery, Pekin, NY.
