Obituary of Evelyn Kagels Ryan Markle

Evelyn M. Kagels Ryan Markle passed away June 27, 2010 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born March 31, 1913 in Newfane she was the daughter of the late Charles and Regina (Muchow) Kagels. Evelyn worked in production at Norton Laboratories for 26 years retiring in 1969. She was member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she was a member of the Ladies Aid and also a member of the Lockport Memorial Hospital Guild. Evelyn was predeceased by her husbands Roland J. Ryan in 1977 and George A. Markle in 1997. She was the sister of the late Harold Kagels. Evelyn is survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Wednesday 3-5 and 7-9 PM in Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 AM. Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.
