Obituary of David R. Forsyth

David “Bernie” R. Forsyth, 61 of Central Square, died Sunday at University Hospital after a long illness. “ Bernie” was self-employed as a fund raiser for local Law Enforcement and Businesses. He was also involved with the CSRBI baseball league for many years. He was pre-deceased by his parents, John and Mary Forsyth, his brother, Thomas Forsyth and his nephews Jared Forsyth and William Reabold Jr.
David was a beloved father to his sons, Alex and Nash Forsyth and is also survived by his longtime companion, Kim Blaine; his four sisters, Linda Gargalano, Becky Forsyth, Ellen (Marc) Watkins and Amy (Lou) Juliano; his brother, John (Judy) Forsyth. He was the nephew of Betty Anderson and Bill and Diane Britt. He is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews and 19 great nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Sunday March 6th 1-4 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, Inc., 242 Genesee Street, Lockport. In lieu of flowers, contributions in David's name may be made to Strong Memorial Hospital, Solid Organ Transplant, 601 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester, NY, 14642.
