Obituary of Norene Fitzsimmons

Norene M. Fitzsimmons entered into rest on Feb.29, 2016 at the Odd Fellows and Rebekah Nursing Home. Born June 15, 1922, to Charles and Mabel (Nestletree) Nablo in Wilson, NY. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Donald W. Mulvey and James M. Fitzsimmons and a sister N. Arleta (James) Brady. Norene spent post WWII years with her husband and children in Frankfurt, Germany where she made many lifelong friendships. Her many accomplishments and interests included entertaining, cooking, traveling, knitting, sewing and gardening.
Norene is survived by her children Michael (Kathleen) Mulvey, Candace (Milt) Wrona, Tim C. (Mary Ellen) Mulvey, Julie (Peter) Kruszynski, and Elizabeth (Les) Barnes; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Wed. March 9, 2016 4-8pm in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where services will be held Thursday, Mar. 10, 2016 at 11:00am. Interment in Cold Springs Cemetery. Donations to the YWCA or the Sr. Loretto's Soup Kitchen would be appreciated. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
