Joseph Hanczarowski passed away Thursday March 3, 2016 in Buffalo General Hospital. Born in Lockport on November 21, 1957, he was the son of the late Peter and Mary Anne Tschubar Hanczarowski. Joe worked for Kenyon's Enterprise in Lockport as a repairman. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. Joe had a big heart, he was loved and will be missed by many. He is survived by his bestfriend and wife of 27 years, Sheila Gruber; father of Zachary (Allison Devlieger) Hanczarowski and Angela Hanczarowski and grandfather of Ronan Joseph Hanczarowski. Joe was the brother of Peter J. Frank, and the late Manfred, Frank and Mary. He is also survived by his niece Carla Morello. Friends may call Sunday March 6th from 1 to 5 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, Inc., 242 Genesee Street, Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday March 7th at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport. Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery. Memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908, would be appreciated by the family.
