Robert Wolcott Obituary

Robert J. Wolcott passed away June 27, 2010 in Odd Fellow & Rebekah Health Care Facility. Born May 26, 1932 in North Tonawanda he was the son of Horace and Dorothy (nee Fix) Wolcott. Robert was raised in the Lockport area and served in the United States Army from 1950 to 1972 fighting in the Vietnam War. He was an avid sportsman, especially loved fishing, hunting, and camping. Robert could always be found fly fishing in a quiet mountain stream. He spent his retirement years traveling the world with his loving wife, Maria.


Robert is survived by his wife of 55 years Maria (nee Klinger) Wolcott of Lockport; father of Ursula (late James) Taylor of Lockport, Robert (Kathy) Wolcott, Jr. of Maine, William (Chris) Wolcott of New York, Douglas H.K. (Anne) Wolcott of Pennsylvania and the late CW4 Clifford Philip (Christina) Wolcott; grandfather of six and great grandfather of three; brother of Edna Parker Peach of North Carolina, Clyde Wolcott, Horace Wolcott both of Lockport and the late Winifred Consla, Dorothy Patterson, Florence Fix, Ivy Wolcott, Carl Wolcott, George Wolcott and Earl Wolcott; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
