Rosemary H. (Lanighan) Norris, of West Seneca, NY entered into rest on July 18, 2009, at her home with family by her side. Born March 5, 1927 in Lockport, NY she was the daughter of James H. and Mildred Erle Lanighan. Rosemary was predeceased by her loving husband Robert H. Norris.
She is survived by her children Keith (Jacque) Norris of California, Kim (Gregg) Tyler of Colorado, and Kurt Norris of California, (aka The 3 K's); Grandmother of Timothy J. Tyler; Sister of Patricia Lanighan of Middleport, Sister Linda Lanighan, SSMN of Buffalo and the late James H. Lanighan Jr. and Eugene F. Lanighan. Sister in-law of Ruth Lanighan of Lockport, Margie (James) Fahey of North Carolina, James Cain of Florida, and the late Ruth Grose. Also survived by several loved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Rosemary graduated in 1944 from St Joseph's Academy followed by one year of business school and worked twelve years for Harrison Radiator as an Administrative Stenographer prior to her marriage. Rosemary loved being with family and cherished times of good conversation with friends and neighbors. She also loved playing cards with her wonderful friends at The Garden Gate Apartments.
Relatives and friends may call on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St. Lockport, where prayers will be offered at 10AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, at 10:30 AM to be celebrated in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston at the convenience of the family. Memorials to the Sisters of St. Mary of Namur, 245 Lafayette Ave., Buffalo, NY 14213, would be appreciated by the family.
